Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Underwood is really dedicated to the subject and works hard to help students understand literature and study works in depth to help develops students before they are sent off into the "real world".

    Course highlights:

Hamlet is one of the best Shakespeare plays because of its depth and complexity.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your reading and do lots of it. You can never read too much.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would completely recommend this class, it's one of my favorite classes. It does involve a lot of homework, but it isn't boring, just time consuming. The teacher is awesome, I actually had his mom as my sixth grade English teacher, so that's cool. In this class, we started off with analyzing poetry and now have moved onto other literary works (plays). The class has been nothing but fun and educational and it would be to your best interest to take the class.

    Course highlights:

How to analyze poetry and the hidden meanings in literary work. The course does involve a lot of reading, which I enjoy, and in class discussions. The in class discussions are great, people get to express their opinions on things we go over in class and it helps make discoveries as to what the author, of the work we are analyzing, is trying to say.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just pay attention in class and have fun with it because it really is an awesome class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP English Lit is a very good course as you will earn an exception form your freshman English classes in college. Unfortunately Underwood acts a bit like a frat boy and carries themes over form his philosophy classes hevily

    Course highlights:

If you like reading this is a good way to go. more interactive than brit lit

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

study hard and turn in work ontime
