    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a required course for most health professions majors (PT, OT, exercise science, nursing, etc.) It includes a 3 credit lecture discussing the anatomy and physiology of organ systems in detail. It is coupled with a 1 credit lab to assure complete understanding of the material.

    Course highlights:

It was great to learn about the functions of specific parts of the body. The first semester mostly focused on the components of the body, but in the second semester your delve into the organ systems. Dr. Welby used many creative models to help the students understand the material and was very thorough, offering extra resources as opportunity for you to better understand the material.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study every day-actively! Figure out what works best for you, but passively reading or just paying attention in class will not work!! Play around with the material- use flash cards, Crash Course, and do the extra assignments she offers!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Course highlights:

We learning all about the body's anatomy and how is relates to all the processes in our body. Everything that goes on in your body is directly related to how our anatomy is and it's very interesting to learn why and how all these processes go on.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study very hard and don't think you can just study the night before and do fine. Make sure you understand every thing very thoroughly and if you don't, ask the teacher for help and studying tips in advance before a test. Don't leave class if you're confused.
