Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I recommend US history because it offers you to know what the world was like, and why the world we currently live in, is the way it is. US history teaches you the evolution of ethics within different civilizations and demonstrates the consequences and rewards for certain actions.
Teaching an amendment of the US constitution was something I enjoyed doing. This is something that I believe was beneficial of other students as well as myself.

Advice for students:
Students should consider the key concepts of events they are looking into. Without knowing exactly what is the reason you are looking into an event, it can potentially become a dreadful process. If you think of how the world would be different if the event happened or had a different result, the subject can be one of the most interesting things you ever learned.
