    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Hillman is a passionate and engaging teacher who genuinely cares about her students understanding the material and having an opinion about it.

    Course highlights:

I loved that we discussed and covered real world problems and that we didn't have to live by a textbook or weren't restrained in subjects.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Enough though I am required to complete a 15 paged paper in about three months, it was actually quite fun and interesting. Shawn's teaching was extraordinary because he made it so that at the end when our papers were due, the only thing we had to do was to put our essay together. Because each the paragraph was written prior to finals week.

    Course highlights:

What I gained from this course is techniques I could use for researching and how to expand my thoughts. For instance, for my body paragraphs I would usually only write about three. However, for this research paper I had to write about 12 paragraphs (four paragraphs per one point being stated).

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

An advice that I would give about this course is to not procrastinate because a 15 paged paper is more difficult than it seems because professors doesn't ask for lengthy essays until now. Also, go to office hours because talking to the professor will really make you think deeply about your key points and how to research those ideas. Finally, Always participate because about a quarter of your grade is based on participation.
