Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Dalsass is a great teacher and won't move onto a different lesson until everyone has understood the concepts. His tests are fair and are based on everything he teaches in class as well as what he c=gives on the homework.

    Course highlights:

The whole course was based on trigonometry and elevated algebra. We also learned techniques that made it easier to solve problems. We also used graphing calculators to graph equations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would give would be to have someone study with you and to always ask questions and clarify. Do every homework problem and take notes on everything the teacher writes on the board. You'll find it helpful to look back and study these notes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course brought a well needed challenge to a subject that I had previously become accustomed to its usually low level of difficulty. I had realized that no matter how arrogant I am, there is always much more to learn.

    Course highlights:

As unusual as it sounds, a highlight of this course was my first time doing poorly on a test. Before this course, I never had to study for a test because math always cake easily to me. But after realizing that I could not just breeze by the class, I learned that a challenge lies in any aspect of academics and one should not overestimate their own abilities.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take every part of this course seriously. This course leads to an even harder one and the students should do their best to actually learn and understand the material rather than do what they need to in order to get a good grade.

At the end of the course we began Calculus A which helped us get ahead and get a trial of Calculus to see if people were completely prepared.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study with a friend who knows the material and will actually study with you.
