    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

He's a very good teacher, and I easily notice that he really cares if the student understands the material or not. He recommended using Khan Academy many times during class.. but I didn't really listen until I was really struggling on some of the chapters on Derivatives. This website has videos and practice problems that really helped me out. It's free and has an app too.

    Course highlights:

I'm actually one of those poeple who enjoy math. I want to major in Chemical Engineering and some of the courses you take in your first years i college include MANY Calculus classes, and I noticed that I really needed to pass this class. I tried to go the extra mile to review and actually understand the material. You won't pass the class if you don't read the book! Memorize the Formulas!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters atleast twice, Memorize Formulas and Khan Academy will be your BFF.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class for those who want to be in the technical field in the future. It's really going to help you if you take it very seriously and of course have an interest in the class.

    Course highlights:

I learned mostly about derivatives, anti derivatives, related rates, concavity and extremes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest to pay really close attention in class. One second of distraction might make you miss something important. Don't be afraid to ask questions in class too. Going to tutoring after school is also very helpful.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

By taking this course, you will somehow get close to every one of your classmates because the class size is very small. I took this course as a junior where there were a majority of seniors in this course. Because this is one of the most rigorous courses at Narbonne, you and your classmates will struggle together and that will form a closer bond to every one of you guys. Also because of this course, I made many senior friends (who are all freshmen in college now).

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were definitely derivatives and integrals. These are the two main topics that are going to be tested on the AP exam.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you do not enjoy math, please don't take this course. It's a very hard class and the grading system is strict, too. However if you are considering taking this course, it gets better second semester; trust me!
