    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While I enjoyed the class overall and learned many new things about our government and it's development over the centuries, it was a very taxing class and took up a lot of my time. You have to be able to take lots of time studying for every single unit test, sometimes over 10 hours doing so just for one of them, and you have to take time doing the individual homework assignments. I would recommend it if someone was looking to go into politics or economics or the like, or if they were simply interested in the topic, but it is a very difficult class. You have to be able to keep up and understand the material unless you want to be stuck cramming for the unit tests for 10 hours the day before and want to be able to understand later lessons by drawing back on the old ones.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of new material about the progression of the US government, and while that immediately doesn't seem very important, it actually greatly helped me in understanding a lot of political jargon and why certain ideas work while others don't, or why one specific thing happens in the government and what we can or can't do to stop it. It especially helped that I took this class in an election year that I would be voting in, because it allowed me to further understand the candidates and better make my decision on who I would be voting for.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to study a lot. And I mean actually study. If you don't review the material, you will constantly be lost and will not do well on the tests or quizzes. You have to be dedicated to this class (to a degree) and can't get distracted or skip class or get sidetracked. Staying on top of the material is everything in this class, because without it you will get lost and may have a very hard time understanding what is going on in a lesson.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Constantly learning! Not just book work but projects, movie clips. group work. Essentially a really good class to be in

    Course highlights:

I learned the wars of this country. The bombing of hiroshima, attach on pearl harbor. Prohibition, and the renaissance. All of it was super interesting. I loved going to that class because I knew I was going to learn something new. History is one of my new favorite subjects because of that class

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Not too stressful, but study enough to get that A.
