    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

AP Human Geography is one of the few course I can recommend to any student. Regardless if you have taken 5 APs previously or 0, you will gain something from the course. The course dives into the workings of society today, what apparatuses have led us here, and offers many opprotunities to apply the material to the real world. Going into the course, I wish I had known that there is a lot of classwork and not all of it will be collected for a grade. That can be a good or bad thing depending on the student.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the real world applicability of the material. There are many debates and discussions that occur in class which help with the understanding of the material. Additionally, there are several projects/field trips that involve food with simple assignments that go along.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for students considering this course is take it. As far as APs go, it is easy and the material offers a lot of interesting class discussions. There are a lot of power pointed notes, however, you don't have to write everything down word for word. An easy way for an A on tests is read the book.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed Human Geography because the class was like nothing else I had ever experienced at Pali. This class made me more aware of my surroundings, how lucky I am to be living where I am.

    Course highlights:

For the first time, we were learning about real situations, people and places in current time. This class made me go beyond, follow up topics we had talked about in class, and passionately look into world issues.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the work and get into it.
