    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course only because it helps very student who takes it think of the many different ways to solve a problem. My teacher was actually named teacher of the year in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Although this subject is really challenging it allows every student to push them selves and it allows students to never give up even when things get tough.

    Course highlights:

The subject it self has many highlights. This subject ties into lots of calculus and trigonometry that you should've learned years prior to taking this class. It can be a challenging class, but with lots of work and dedication you will be able to get through this class. It teaches students to keep trying the problem until it gets solved because it also teaches students to be more determined to do things.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would giver the advice of making sure you study at least two or three days prior to any test you'll be taking in this class because if you don't study and don't pay any attention you will be very confused in this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Mancilla is an overall good teacher that can make a difficult problem into an easy one.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to interpret FRQs in a simpler way that I could understand.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Pay close attention and practice.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Before entering, I thought I hated math because I was never very good at high level math courses, but Ms. Mancilla makes learning not only understandable, but connects to her students so if you don't get it one way, pull get it another way.

    Course highlights:

I learned that math really is something that you'll need in the real world. She often reminds you whether it be on a problem or just a part of the lesson, you understand that learning things like related rates is something you'll see later in life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're questioning, I suggest you do it anyway. I thought long and hard about it, and it was the best decision I've ever made. Plus, if you pass the exam, you're exempt from Calculus AB in college!
