Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because Ms. Gonzales really knows what shes talking about on the subject and is always willing to help those who ask. She does tend to go off on tangents sometimes or tell too many personal stories but she teaches the course well. Just pay attention and do well on her quizzes! Also extra credit is available, she held a Saturday study day for the SAT that gave me a lot of points.

    Course highlights:

You learn the biology basics, stuff you'll build off of later if you decide to take the AP course. There are a couple of dissections at the end of the year.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take a lot of notes and definitely take advantage of extra credit oppurtunities.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Magnet Honors Biology is an innovative corse that gives you the chance to truly understand how life works and gives full thorough detail on the subject. The studying techniques that were used in class for a test were helpful as well. It was an overall positive experience.

    Course highlights:

I personally loved the labs we were allowed to do, and I learned a lot about enzymes, lipids, and proteins. You also get the chance to do hands on activities that allow you to deeper understand certain topics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Most will be able to pass the class as long as they ask questions whenever confusion occurs and they never throw away any notes that are taken in the class. Studying whatever topic was learned that day helps a lot as well. Other then that there isn't much else to it.
