Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She tells you exactly what will be on the test and her lectures are straight-forward. She explains things in detail on the board, sometimes with different colors. At the end of class, she gave us time to ask questions.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basic accounting equation, how to balance different types of accounts, and how to do a bank reconciliation. She has a quirky sense of humor and will joke around every now and then.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you show up, take notes, and ask questions, this is a doable class. I also recommend taking pictures of the white board and projector screen, since she goes over the answers to homework problems fairly quickly. The book is also helpful, but her way of doing some things differs from the way the book does it. Studying in a group has helped me do well on tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although this course was not very easy, Dr. Cobia did an amazing job in explaining everything. She went over tons of examples until everyone was confident about it. If you study well for her tests, you will do great.

    Course highlights:

I learned a ton of things about how business transactions really work, how accounts are set up and why they are important, and about how the business world generally interacts. It's great for anyone, whether you're goals are to own your own business or just trying to get a better understanding of accounting principles, such as debits and credits or the way taxes work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY FOR THE TESTS. Also, she is very thorough in her lectures so make sure to attend every class.
