    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you are going to major in business or maybe even computer technology. This course would be helpful to you because this class teaches you the fundamentals of computers and Microsoft Office apps such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access. Taking business in college, you will have to use these resources most of the times formatting essays and making spreadsheets.

    Course highlights:

This course is a foundation course for business/computer information systems majors. Taking this course I learned Information and computer literacy concepts that include: hardware and components, system and application software, programming principles, applications of information technology and ethics. There also was exposure to word processing, presentation, and database software, use of spreadsheets, information systems development and usage of the Internet, especially as a research tool.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

One tip I can give you: do not take the class and assume you may already have what it takes to pass the class because you have used Microsoft Word or PowerPoint before. Yes, you will be using these systems but it gets way deeper than the fundamentals. Make sure you do your work, meet your deadlines, and take ALL tests.
