    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you are ahead in mathematics. It is a very tough class but I do like the teacher. We do learn a lot however I get confused all the time. The majority of the class is failing and I study a lot everyday for this course. If you are a junior and you pass the AP exam then the teacher automatically gives you an A in his class.

    Course highlights:

My favorite topic of the course would be derivatives. We learn three types of derivatives and how they function. A chapter I didn't like would be integrals as I struggled heavily with them. Second semester we start doing free response questions by ourselves and as a group.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would go to the library almost everyday and I would work with my other friends who are also taking that class. We would ask the tutors in the library for help with problems. We would also use Khan academy and we would YouTube the question too.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Ha teaches Calculus in a way that allows all students to improve their critical thinking. We learn how to solve problems step by step. We are taught different methods to approach a difficult problem. I believe this class is greatly preparing us to pass the AP exam.

    Course highlights:

This course helped me improve my studying skills. I had never experienced the way a college class felt like until I took Calculus. I didn't do well on my first test because I didn't study enough. The next time I had a test I put a lot more effort into my studying. I was able to realize the more I studied the better I did. Now I know how much I must prepare when I take my classes in college.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I have the highest grade in my Calculus class because I study every topic until I have mastered it. Never procrastinate in this class. Study every day for at least two hours and ask a lot of questions. Practice any problem you think your teacher might give you in a test. Review your notes as many times as you have to until you have mastered it. If you believe you can teach it, then you are ready and will succeed.
