    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to people wanting to go into the medical field. It gives you a basis of anatomy and physiology and what to expect if you take it in college. This course is also really challenging, at least to me, since it was not your normal science class that you would take. The reason why I took this course is to be part of the internship program my school has and to get a feel for the medical field.

    Course highlights:

Through this course the main highlights for me were the group projects and learning the human systems. I learned most of the human body systems in a semester.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

What I did to get an A in the class was I read the whole chapter, instead of reading the minimum assignments. I also took notes on those chapters. Every night I studied a little bit of the chapter or I studied a concept that I didn't understand. Also forming study groups before any tests helps a lot, because your peers might know and understand something that you do not.
