    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend to take this class since it's not a hard class and you get it out of the way so you can focuss on other classes

    Course highlights:

I actually got to learn and see art in a different way.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Try your hardest. At the end the class will pay off.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Ballinger provides ways for the students to interact with art as well as develop their thinking skills by expressing their opinions on certain pieces/videos and creating artwork of their own.

    Course highlights:

The best part of the class, in my opinion, was the opportunity to create artwork based on what we were learning as well as being exposed to certain artists like Kehinde Wiley.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and you will be fine. It helps a lot if you have basic art knowledge.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

There are some assignments where the assignment required the student to creatively express a message with limited resources. The assignment would be extra credit, and the assignment was hands on and made learning to think off the box to express a certain emotion or message. The professor was very submerged with the content she was teaching, and it made the course very memorable.

    Course highlights:

The course was all about learning how the artist took the conflict or every day life and expressed their feelings through art. I learned what techniques were used in famous arts. Famous artists lives, and the world conflicts when the artist was alive. There was quiet a lot of notes, but they were easy to understand.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I will give to future students is that the course is about seeing art and the world from a different persons' point of view, so don't try to set the course in a box or tie the knowledge the student learns to a permanent mindset about the point of view.
