    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is challenging yet fun!

    Course highlights:

I took chemistry 1 and 2 while I was attending SkyView Academy. While I was taking this class one of the first things we did (in chem 2) was we built smoke bombs! This is one of the funnest things I have ever done. It was stressful at first because the teacher didn't give very much instructions, so lots of research was needed, but it was fairly easy once started.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just study and know your material, especially in chem 1

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a good course. It was not very difficult or too full of information. It went at an okay pace. The only problems were that my teacher did not know how to make things clear enough for us all to understand. Otherwise, it went pretty well.

    Course highlights:

We went over stoichiometry in depth. It was the basis of second semester. We learned how to balance equations and the basics of chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Prepare to work hard. This course wasn't particularly difficult, if you did the work. If you didn't do the work, study, or seek additional help when needed, it was close to impossible to pass the class. It's an easy class to enjoy if you stay calm and just do the work at a good pace.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was very easy for me. I loved being able to do the labs and how most of the learning we did was through watching videos and also very hands on.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to make homemade ice cream, we also played with fire and were able to view the changes of chemicals going from a solid to a liquid back to solid through some of the experiments we did.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you study and pay attention in class, then this class will be pretty easy and sometimes fun!
