Pretty easy, overall.
I enjoyed this course. It should be called Yearbook instead of Publishing. That has led a few of my classmates astray when registering for classes. We have a lot of fun leaving class to take pictures, delegating pages, picking color schemes and whatnot. If you don't enjoy artsy things like scrapbooking or drawing, you won't like this class because it is very much like a digital art class in some ways. Overall, it is fun and if you don't like singing or regular art classes or you can't take any more gym classes, this is a good one to take to make sure you have something of a break during the day.
We learned how to match different color schemes and themes to create the best looking page. This wasn't something that our teacher taught. Everything artsy that we learned was very much self taught.

Advice for students:
Be open to having your peers in charge. One or two people will be assigned as editors and the rest of the class will work under them and the teacher. These people could be younger or older or someone you don't like so being open to those possibilities is a necessity.
