    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class is very tough, but if you have to take it, I like Strawser. The semester I had him, he experienced a family emergencies and had to teach from Texas for about two months. The thoroughness of his class notes helped to smooth all the weird inconsistent teaching.

    Course highlights:

Lots of amortization practice. The information is, at times, overwhelming, but Strawser does a good job of breaking down topics into component pieces.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It's hard. Prepare for it starting in your Principles courses, the intermediate classes are simply an extension of basic accounting principles. It will be as hard as everyone says. Stay on top of the material and you will make it through.
