    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although many students find this course to be daunting, it is very rewarding in the end. Studying and attending every class is a must. It's easy to get behind so completing the homework on time is highly recommended.

    Course highlights:

Typical intro to biology class. It starts off with the basic "atom" structure, protons, neutrons, and electrons, and grows from there. Cells are also a huge part of this course. Plant cells and animal cells are the most common in this course. There will also be a lot of information on proteins, sugars, and fats and how they appear in cells. This course involves a lot of studying.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class, read the book, take good notes, ask questions, ask more questions, get involved in a study group, study for tests weeks in advance. For every quiz and test, the answers should be corrected if wrong because they will appear again on the final.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

My professor was amazing. Anne was so organized and kept us engaged with multiple learning tools. The class was so interesting and fun!

    Course highlights:

I learned about multiple things. However, my favorite was cell reproduction. It was fasinating to learn how cells devide and how they function. We dove into every single stage of the cell cycle, and even how cancer develops. Looking in the microscope was very interesting too. Its amazing what you can see in a simple drop of lake water.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Always do your work. Do not miss any assignments and definitely study atleast 3 hours outside of class every day.
