    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I haven't been challenged through this course, the discussions in class are empty.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was peer review. I learned a lot about my writing through this.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course it is important to know when essays are due, as they come pretty rapidly.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Hap is an amazing instructor. He is highly intelligent, but knows how to make the material relatable. If this is one of your prerequisites and you're going to be attending Larimer Campus, I'd highly recommend taking Hap's class. He isn't a relentless taskmaster, but he's going to push you to do your best, and that is something that is severely undervalued.

    Course highlights:

English is already one of my strong subjects, but I still earned good habits from this class. This is a good way to learn to prepare for tougher workloads if you're going into an intense program.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I didn't put enough hours in for the work, so definitely make sure you are doing more than 6-8 per week. Thankfully, the papers leading up to the final research paper do help you prepare for it, but that last paper is HARD to write if you procrastinate too much!
