    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mary brought incredible enthusiasm and insight into the inner workings of statistical analysis.

    Course highlights:

I loved the statistical analysis projects that allowed us to chose our own topics and research certain statistically significant data.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid to ask questions or request an alternate explanation of any statistical rules. Mary was always willing to seek an alternative explanation if a student was having trouble.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because understanding statistics is essential to thinking scientifically.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about sampling methods, binomials, probability distributions, and how to correctly test hypothesis with a certain level of significance. My favorite part was by far hypothesis testing!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, you will need to dedicate a few hours per day to reading the text book and lesson plans. I suggest asking questions when you need clarification and doing your best to truly understand concepts rather than just memorize steps.
