Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this class online, and I did not really understand why discussions are a requirement for the grade. For this reason I took a star away.

    Course highlights:

It was a good review of pre algebra and algebra. I had forgotten much of the high school math that I'd learned, so it was helpful to review

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking the online course, make notes as you watch the tutorial videos. This way you can study your notes along with the text book before taking tests

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Connie is a great teacher. She has a real knack for teaching math. But the key to this class, besides finding a good teacher, is studying. Math doesn't come easy to all of us, so sometimes you really have to put your head down outside of the classroom and practice until you know it.

    Course highlights:

This is a beginning math course and it really hit on key things you'll need to grow in the math department. They used online tools that helped you to learn and understand some of the materials.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study! Always take time to practice what they teach you that night. It will help you zone in and remember things better.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class was about preparing for the college math classes. The professor was very helpful and organized and very clear of what the expectations of the course were. There was a lot of group work and it was very helpful to get others inputs for the assignments.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to solve equations and how to find interest etc. The highlights were that the professor was all about making sure that every assignment was understood by everyone.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to struggle. The math does get harder and harder during the course.
