Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is great for students who have a curiosity about human development and the functions of the mind. Every moment i was in this class I was awe struck. There's such a ride variety of topics that are mentions in this class and it is never a dull moment. It is a great elective and i would courage all students to take it because it is really eye opening to understand why our brains work the way they do.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about different personality types, parts of the brain and their functions, disorders, the effects of different parenting styles, how the brain analyzes things and much more. My teacher was great at explaining all of the different concepts; she also included many hands-on activities and project to aide with understanding.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I took psychology as an AP course. With that being said, studying for this course was very important. Reading over the textbook and notes was very helpful when studying for a test. Just do not procrastinate! There's a lot of vocabulary that you won't remember if you cram.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is great for individuals who want to work hard to make the grades. Even if you don't enjoy history, Mrs. Rawls makes it very interesting.

    Course highlights:

I gained so much time management from this course since there's quite a bit of work you must do every week. You don't get daily assignments, you get a weekly bundle of work due the next week like in college.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't cram for the test, group up, and study your historical figures. Honestly, if you take advantage of the group opportunities she gives, this class is cake.
