    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course was ok, things we learned really helped me and a lot of my classmates. Chem helps you a lot if you want to get into that.

    Course highlights:

I gained and still trying to learn a lot of what my teacher is saying.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This might be a little hard of some people if you don't know your background.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was challenging at times but also interesting. Science hasn't always been something that I am fully interested in so at first I thought it was pretty boring. However after getting deeper into the course their were specific parts that I was interested in and others I wasn't interested in at all. One of the things I found interesting was when we did a lab with fire and due to the chemical reaction it didn't burn anything that it touched.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the many labs we did and the hands on experience that I gained from it. This helped me better understand some of the basic concepts behind chemistry such as; atoms, molecules, their formation, and atomic structure. From these labs I learned how to use the periodic table to solve stoichiometry problems. By connecting the concepts that were hard for me to grasp with things that I related to more I made a better connection.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

For a student considering this course I would tell them that It takes effort to grasp the concepts. If you enjoy science and the molecular components of things that you will enjoy this course. Practicing the material is important when studying it, something that I would recommend is conducting your own experiments if you have the time and enjoy the material.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, Mr. Camp was really helpful when it came to harder to understand subjects. He even came up with some stories to help us understand concepts better. The labs were easy going and a lot of fun to work in groups with other students.

    Course highlights:

I gained a basic knowledge of chemical reactions, mol conversions, and hydrates. The best was all the hands on experience! That is what was the best part overall. There was a lab for each unit which only helped the understanding of the material.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would really pay attention in the notes, follow the lab directions exactly, follow lab safety rules, and ask for help when you need it and the course will not be especially difficult. Never be afraid to ask for help. Also, get your work done. It may seem like some of it is a lot of work, but doing it all is really going to help you pass the course.
