    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course covers a vast array of topics that have the probability of intriguing all students. The in depth laboratory experiments and the constant collaborative learning allow students to engage in critical thinking and construct their own projects and labs.

    Course highlights:

This course expanded my knowledge of biological activity enormously. Learning why animals performed certain behaviors and how they learned from them was astounding. The laboratory experiments also allowed for the students to visually see the topics and ideas we were learning about in action and at work within an environment.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For students considering this course, I would highly recommend skimming through the chapter that is being discussed in class beforehand. This greatly increases understanding and allows for students to engage in collaborative learning. This cuts down on time of students flipping through the textbook searching for definitions of words they have not yet comprehended. i would also recommend taking a basic biology class before beginning AP Biology to better understand simple concepts that will be analyzed in greater detail.
