Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class will make you open your mind to different possibilities. You will learn how to appreciate multiple forms of poetry, as well as short essays and famous British authors and pieces of literature.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were how the lessons that we learned could be applied to real life situations, which really helped to develop me as a person and enabled me to think about life in a more serious perspective. We learned about British literature, as well as different forms of poetry that developed throughout the centuries.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY. You will really need to study in order to pass this course. Read the novels that you are assigned and follow the reading schedule that she gives you as closely as you possibly can. If you do not read, then you are essentially setting yourself up for failure, because the quizzes and tests on the novels are very detailed. Make sure to pay attention to the PowerPoint presentations. Print them out if you have the capability to and make sure you study them. Highlight or underline things that she puts a lot of emphasis on in the PowerPoint. Make sure to remember deadlines. Those will either make or break you. Most of all, pay attention in class and DO NOT go to sleep.
