    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Being an Avid student has taught me that I have a support group, which is the class itself. My fellow classmates have helped me realize that if I ever need help, which has occurred in many occasions, they will help me. In addition, the class is a guide to me. It guides to the right path to success, which is being on track with my A-G requirements and teaching me about life itself.

    Course highlights:

Avid has tutorials for the reason to teach us about cooperation and to actually understand a topic in which a student has no clue. My fellow classmates would go up and describe specifically what they did not understand about a math problem. As a tutorial group, it was our job to help our classmate understand where he/she was confused. As we worked together, we were able to help a student understand his/her math problem. To acknowledge that I can help a fellow classmate with a problem he/she does not understand gives me a sense of happiness that I helped another person.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard and work together. Working together as a group to solve academic confusion can make a difference to that one student who needed that help. Working as a group makes things easier. In addition, Avid is not a hard class to pass, but it is not easy; as long as you work hard and complete your work, you will be fine.
