Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it teaches you how to format good essays. The teacher gives you a formal that will work on the smallest essay to the longest. She builds the skills that are already there, and she makes you more comfortable and confident in your writing.

    Course highlights:

The highlights happened in the second term where we went more in depth to writing essays. I learned how to format synthesis essays, rhetorical analyses, and many other kinds of essays.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not slack, and pay attention. Keep all notes, handouts, and guidelines given. Do not take this opportunity for granted, but improve the skills and knowledge you already posses.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend this class because it helps you to get ready for college courses and it helps you develop time management skills with your assignments. Also, since it is an AP class, if you take the course, then take the AP test at the end of the year, you may be able to save some money on the college course for English Lang if you pass the AP test.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course, for me at least, was learning to write better essays and developing time management skills. I learned how to add more character to my writing by learning where it would be good to ad verbs and adjectives.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you consider taking this course the biggest pieces of advice I can offer are to actually do the work and that if you are struggling then do not be afraid to ask for help! The teachers are there to help you understand the material and are willing to work with you as long as you are willing to work with them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading! And prepare for your essays, it will make your life far easier.
