Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was an honors course that I took. It both challenged me as a writer, and helped me to developed crucial writing skills in pertinence to Behavioral Science papers.

    Course highlights:

The teacher is engaging, and brings out the best in every student, academically and mentally. I took away valuable skills in this class when it comes to research methods, and the writing of Behavioral Science papers. These skills will hopefully go on to serve me in my pursuit of my Masters in counseling. I also went through ethics training and applied to be IRB certified for my final honors project in this class. This was difficult but demonstrative of how difficult working with human subjects can be.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into this expecting log days in front of your computer writing. If you don't enjoy writing, this class is not for you as it is composition intensive.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because Mr. Macias is an amazing teacher and really makes you open your eyes to some things. The topics he chooses for papers make you think, but also leave you wanting to know more.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about different writing techniques and how to write certain papers the best. I left this class a better writer and gained more knowledge on how to write.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always show up. Always do his essays, because even though he doesn't give much homework those essays will kill your grade if you just miss one.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course, you write a lot but he shows you how to develop your voice! I am an avid writer, but until now I have struggled with using my authors voice, rather than my readers voice!

    Course highlights:

Funny teacher, good topics, and he let us leave earlier than expected.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take your time to plan out your thoughts, but do not procrastinate.
