    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Algebra 2 is the foundation for all upper-level math classes and is relatively useful in every day life as well because it does ensure that you did not lose the math taught in elementary levels.

    Course highlights:

I gained the confidence to pursue more difficult math classes and eventually chose to major in a career that is heavily influenced by math that involves the fundamentals taught in Algebra 2.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It is definitely important to put an adequate number of hours in while studying for tests and doing assigned homework for this class. The more practice problems you complete the greater chance you will have at surpassing class expectations.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Algebra II is a necessary course to take before college and some concepts are used in everyday common life. Regardless of which teacher you have (hence "any"), it's an important stepping stone, simple as that.

    Course highlights:

How to properly use a graphing calculator, you won't be writing out all the problems by hand in real life, use what works, calculators work. Time management with work is applicable to anywhere in life. In this course specially, you learn when it's time to try a new method to solve a problem. Creativity in solving math problems is encouraged too.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Have a recent graphing calculator, know how to use it. Try to memorize common powers of two and three so they become mental math before you start. Realize you must stay on track with homework every night so you don't fall behind.
