Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course taught me how to be healthier, and make better eating decisions. It helped me realize what I can do to prevent diabetes as it is hereditary on both sides of my family. I learned what I can do to help my dad and my grandparents manage their daily battle with diabetes.

    Course highlights:

After taking this course I gained more of an understanding about what nutrition means. Nutrition is how we measure our health to obtain our wellness. This course is great for knowledge within the fields of anatomy and physiology, biology, culinary arts and even baking and pastry. I also learned that if I keep a food record I tend to eat healthier, than if I didn't keep a food record. My hardest part of one of my assignments was having to create a vegetarian food journal\log. It is hard to not eat proteins or meat.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The easiest way to pass this class is to show up on time everyday, and take notes and ask questions. It is always important to participate in class, it will help you gain knowledge and remember things when your next quiz pops up.
