Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend taking your general chemistry classes with Mrs. Viquesney. She has a very great teaching method and you will go lesson by lesson over each concept with clear questions and answers that will set you up to do really well on the exams and ACS.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course would have to be the homework assignments and group work problems. When it came to actually getting involved and writing down your answers up on the board it gets you to interact and explain your answers to her and your classmates for further clarification on the procedures and material.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to stay on top of the material and spend an adequate amount of time doing the problems by yourself along with classmates. If you have an issue with a certain kind of problem, doing multiple problems will get you more comfortable. It is almost like math. The problems will become second nature if you practice a lot. Practice makes perfect!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Viquesney is an awesome instructor who knows her material well and genuinely cares about her students success. Because of her, I changed my major from biology to medicinal chemistry.

    Course highlights:

You learn so much in a short amount of time, which is both good and bad, depending on how hard you are willing to work for it. Teachers will go out of their way to help with it, and the labs are pretty fun!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study fundamental tools as much as possible, they all are used in this greatly and it is so much easier to progress is your chemistry foundation is solid.
