Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend AP Psychology because Mr. Tatro is an awesome teacher and the course itself broadens your mind and scope of school and gets you thinking towards the future and what your future holds and what you may want to do. It also gets you the college credits if you pass the AP exam which is always nice, and gives you good knowledge and insight on psychology and what it entails.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me would be the big projects we would have to do, and the mock AP finals we completed. It was very good to see how I would do if it had been the real deal as we went along in the semester with the mock AP exams. The group experiment at the end of the year was a blast to do and I was able to walk away from the course with a lot of knowledge of the brain and how it functions and how this can be related back to disorders and mental ailments.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a good "first" AP course, if you are not huge on AP, it was going to be difficult but is probably among the easiest AP courses at school, and Mr. Tatro prepares you well for the AP exam. You'll need to set aside time for the notes and make sure you always read and study. Studying the parts of the brain is pretty much the best and most helpful thing you can do for the course.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it due to how professional and interesting Mr. Tatro makes the class all the while making it possible to learn efficiently.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course where when we learned how conditioning worked. I learned about the mind the parts of the mind and how it is affected by mental illness and substances

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay well attention in class and all you will have to do is skim over your notes to be able to do well in this class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Because this course is an AP class, you are required to memorize your information rather than understand it.

    Course highlights:

The end of the year project was one of the best parts of the class because it allowed the students to run their own psychology study to understand the concepts more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The test are crucial to your grade and if you were to put it time for anything it should be studying for the exams.
