    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is a wonderful course for first time AP students. The material is appropriately rigorous but not terribly difficult. The course holds interesting topics and valuable material that can be relatable to life and society.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be no summer assignment, a wonderful teacher, and the attainment of important and interesting information. I was able to learn about every aspect of the human body, especially the brain. I also learned about various personalities, people's motives, stages of life, stages of emotions, and the human psyche.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate or give little effort in this course because it is a less difficult AP course compared to other courses. This course is still an AP class and requires a good amount of effort and good time management skills.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is challenging, but not impossible. Rather than bury you with homework assignments, Mr. Olson encourages independent studies.

    Course highlights:

Different theories ranging from Freud's Psychosexual Development to Kohlberg's Moral Development, as well as the biology of the brain, emotions, motivation, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, that's about it. If you don't study you won't pass.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Olson displays the magic of psychology in his AP Psych class. He shows that Psychology is the study of the mind, and thus, the study of everything. It's where all this real, hard science, chemistry, evolution, biology, meets pure philosophy, who we are, what memories are, and what the mind is, to create this beautiful, ugly, often confusing picture of what the mind is.

    Course highlights:

Biology of the Brain, Developmental Psychology, Emotion and Motivation

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study outside of class, especially for tests. Tests and quizzes are almost all of the grade. He barely assigns homework.
