Not too easy. Not too difficult.

This course is a relatively simple AP class thanks to great instruction and format. It prepares you well for the exam.

The highlight of the course for me was the different government simulations students would engage in.

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The best way to succeed in the course is to read the textbook thoroughly.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend AP Gov because it is not particularly difficult and it holds important information. The information that I have learned about the processes of the American government are significant and pertinent. Mr. Fagen is also an organized and experienced teacher that makes learning the subject material easier.

    Course highlights:

Especially since this year included the presidential election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, AP Gov was a class that allowed me to understand everything that occurred during the election process. The most important things that we learned would be the electoral college process, the government duties of the three branches, and the history of voting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend that students read the book, take good notes, and understand the material more than merely memorize the facts. Students should take the course as seriously as any other AP course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This has been one of the most rigorous courses I've taken at this school. I would highly recommend it to those who plan on attending college.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the daily discussions about real world problems. I learned a lot about how the U.S runs.
