Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Martinez is a fantastic teacher as he is quite passionate about what he teaches. He advised me to ask my Professors about concepts I don't understand. Try to teach what you have learned to a friend or a sibling and you will find what you need to work on and what you already know well. Figure out your learning style, ask your professors how you can adapt to it, and use it to your benefit. Use the resources available if you are stuck in something. Study when you want to. Study when you don't want to. Draw out the different concepts ifyou need to visualize it. Study groups are great too, because you get different ideas for the same thing

    Course highlights:

The highlight was definitely the lab. It was amazing to visualize what we were learning, There was more interaction with the teacher and Dr. Martinez really takes the time to make sure you understand what is being taught. I really enjoyed learning about the cell, and the nucleus, DNA replication, how RNA makes proteins. I also made new friends who are going a similar path and I look forward to taking more classes with them next semester.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Understand the concepts. Use your learning styles to your benefit. Ask Questions. Visit the Professor during office hours. Use resources available such as youtube, or google or study websites. Take notes from his slides, printed out. But most of all, try to enjoy the class.
