    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would, and have, recommended my friends to take this course. Not only because it fulfills a requirement into taking a transfer level English, but because Professor Mata is an excellent teacher and feedback giver. You can tell she cares about each student's success. The class I took was 9am-12:50pm two days a week. I know it sounds like forever but she fills the time with activities, lectures, and writing excercises and uses each minute to the max!

    Course highlights:

I found my strength was In-class essays. Something about the pressure of being given a limited time makes my thoughts flow onto the paper better than if I were to plan and structure my ideas beforehand. It just all comes together. If you'renot comfortable writing or if you love writing, you will definitely learn something and enhance your skills.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just attend. Lectures are key to survival. She takes every minute to feed you knowledge you need to succeed in her class.
