    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is not for the faint of heart. In order to succeed at this class, one would need to completely apply themselves to math and be prepared to work hard. Unlike other classes which is solely about finding the answer, Mr. Han's class is about using every way possible to find an answer, and the journey of finding the answer is the only way that a person would learn in this class.

    Course highlights:

In math, I would usually use shortcuts to find answers, or solve a problem in less than a minute. In this class, there is no easy way out, what I have learned is to embrace the struggle of being lost, and only through struggling will one succeed in this class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying is a given in this class. If you really want an A, you have to apply yourself beyond the course and believe it or not, do math problems for fun, or at least find math enjoyable.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I know how it feels like to think that just the name of the course makes it sound intimidating and super hard, but honestly if a person just puts the effort into listening, studying, and doing the homework, it is an easy subject to understand. Yes, there are difficulties, but with the right amount of self-studying and balance with other subjects, it is easy to gather. I did not think I was smart enough to be in that class, but I am understanding the concept of the topics Mrs. Pacheco has been teaching. The way she explains to the class helps immensely, she is the reason I understood the majority of the first semester, and now she is helping me with the second semester.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me were when I got the tests back and actually got a good score on them. I was so happy because the topics were a bit confusing, but studying helped prove that I am worthy of being in that class, which I think should motivate other students to take the class because that feeling of accomplishment is great, especially in the class that I thought would be impossible for me to succeed in.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

PLEASE do not take for granted the time you have to study. Yes, the teacher teaches the lesson in class, but sometimes that won't be enough for some students. Studying on their own time would help so much, and that includes doing the homework packets on time because they are like a practice sample while learning at the same time.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ms Pacheco is the only teacher that offers this course and she really does do an excellent job at teaching it. the material is vigorous so be prepared for a lot of studying.

    Course highlights:

Before tests, students create a cheat sheet called Taco Books, don't ask me why, and they help so much! Tell class gets an entire period to interact and prepare for the test

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is difficult course that involves a lot of critical thinking and dedication, but fortunately Pacheco offers after school tutoring so I recommend that you give it a try.
