    Information was very interesting and engaging.

    I loved learning about the differences between cultures, and the uniqueness of every culture found around the world.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    This course was very interesting and fun if you're interested in learning about anthropology with a specification in culture. The teacher is very passionate about her teachings and the coursework is easy to understand and interesting to do.

    Course highlights:

    This class touched on evolution, sexuality, race, gender, and centered mostly around culture around the world.

    Advice for students:

    Attend lectures and take thorough notes, the instructor writes her tests based on her lectures and activities.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    I had never taken anthropology before and professor Dixon made me fall in love with the subject. It was a fascinating class about the cultures of the world and how they are studied taught by a professional in the field who truly loves what she does.

    Course highlights:

    I really enjoyed learning about different cultures through out the world. At the end of the course you are required to write an essay about a anthropological study you read during the quarter which gives you great insight into that culture and makes you understand the world and different cultures in a new light.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make friends with the teacher. I love Dr. Dixon. I have taken two of her classes and will still stop by her office in order to talk to her.
