    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a course with a motivated and engaged teacher. His main goal is to help students understand what they're needed to know to the best of his abilities.

    Course highlights:

The socratic seminars we'd have about a specific book we read was one highlight, I learned how to gather evidence and analyze something and find a deeper meaning to it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do you're work the day you get it, because if not you'll find yourself with more work than you thought.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Gong taught this class in an engaging and interesting way. He explicitly showed us how everything connected to each other, which made it easier for us as students to see the flow of each and every lesson plan. Mr. Gong also cared about each and every student improving and you could go in and talk to him for help after hours and he always tried his best to lead you in the right direction.

    Course highlights:

One major highlight was when we played real life monopoly because it helped me realize how these exchanges occur in real life and how the bosses played the game in order to win the most profits.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to want to improve yourself. Also, do the readings or else you will be extremely behind.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Gong is a great teacher, and he really pushes his students to the best they can without just giving them the answer. He pushes you to figure it out on your own, causing the student to feel the ultimate rewarding feeling of working it out in their own.

    Course highlights:

We read great books throughout the year. I mainly learned how to properly write essays, The course focuses a lot on how to formulate your own opinions and express them in your writing without summarizing the novel.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is not easy and if you apply to take it then you must be ready to take on the work load as well. The teacher did not ask you to take the class you chose to take it, so you have to take on that responsibility.
