    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

While taking this course, I thought the information we were learning was useless and that I was never going to talk to someone about a carbon footprint. Believe it or not, it came up in a conversation once, however, and I was grateful for the information I had received.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course was coming up with a song about the atmosphere. It's difficult but the end product is great and hearing what your fellow classmates came up with is always fun.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you thoroughly read the textbook and take good notes because it will come in handy during in-class quizzes and on the AP exam.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The workload is heavy and there is not much class time spent on learning the concepts. It is mostly independent work, without enough guidance. The grading is rough and if you fall behind at any point, it is incredibly hard to catch up.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about environmental injustices and it taught me about problems that affect the entire world. It requires community service hours and it was actually kind of fun to go out with friends and clean up the estuary.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be highly motivated in order to stay on track, and you need a lot of free time. To study, read the textbook and take notes in the form of thorough outlines.
