Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Prof. Brzezinski is thorough and precise when she teaches. She lectures off of Powerpoints that she puts on the course website, and she will explicitly tell you what you need to know for the next test. Overall a joy to learn from.

    Course highlights:

This was an Intro to Psychology course, which was required for my degree but did not particularly apply to my field. Still, I found it incredibly interesting. I walked away from each class session having learned something new.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, and take notes. If the professor repeats something more than once, you better believe it will be on the test! You can get away without the textbook, but it is a useful supplement, especially if you're struggling in the course.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is interesting, but the only reason I have taken this course is that it is a requirement. Also, it's a challenging class.

    Course highlights:

Lots of amazing information and interesting stories. The teacher does a good job and is easy to understand. But overall it really requires you to really study a lot and will require a lot from you.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You really must study as much as you can. Focus in class and take lots of clean notes. Also, colored notes will help the organization.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Olsen's enthusiasm is infectious--she has a genuine affinity for what she teaches; her devotion and kindness to her students just might outweigh her love of psychology.

    Course highlights:

The lectures were always informative and thorough; professor Olsen always ensured that all of her students were grasping the topic at hand, and left ample time for queries and discussions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make flash cards--plenty of flash cards--and show up to class. Stay attentive and focused, fulfill the extra credit when it's offered, and treat the professor with respect.
