    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I learned about sociology and enjoyed it.

    Course highlights:

The textbook was the surprising highlight because it gave a down to earth approach that did not have me bored. One chapter began with the author telling a story about a sociology students going to the projects and asking gang members how it felt to be poor and black. The story cracked me up and interested me in what the rest of the chapter had to say.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it! It is a worthwhile 3 credits and interesting information.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was awesome. We covered some controversial subjects, so it is definitely important to keep an open mind! The first few days are a bit intimidating, as the professor comes off a bit strong at first, but I definitely recommend sticking it out, because the class itself is very interesting.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this class are the videos we got to watch! They were great, and very informative, but at the same time: totally not boring.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be in class! You cannot afford to miss this one! I would also definitely advise note-taking. I am an auditory learner, so notes are often a distraction for me, as I focus on those and not what the professor is saying. However, her worksheets come word-for-word out of her lectures, and if you take notes on your laptop, you can just paste them into the worksheet. That will save you HOURS of work!
