Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course gives you the opportunity to study events of the past and how those events have shaped our society. The opportunity to study different cultural behaviors was also very enlightening

    Course highlights:

In addition to the material covered in the course, I also learned how to research material in order to be more thorough in the writing of my papers. I also learned how to properly cite references that I used during my research.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not skip class. Although most of the material covered is in the textbook, the opportunity to exchange ideas with other students is very important.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. Sociology is an interesting topic that all should receive basic education on. Even if an individual does not have interest in the sociological field, the class provides information that can change how you view the world.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the many theories behind human interaction, and why many aspects of society exist as they do. The course did much to teach me existing information, but ultimately its goal was to teach me and other students how to objectively look at society and its issues through a sociological viewpoint.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I took the class online, and some good advice I can give is one often repeated: Don't procrastinate. Online classes can be just as rigorous as physical classes, and so they should not be forgotten or pushed aside. But the best advice is to approach the class with an open mind. The class has the potential to expand your horizons, but if you're too set in your opinions, you have wasted your own time.
