    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I struggled with Microbiology because I took this class online. To be honest, this class should only be taken in class. For those of you that are good at understanding everything in the book with no teaching from the teacher, you might do well in this class.

    Course highlights:

I was working two jobs at the time so convienence was the best being that It was online. Other than that, I did enjoy this class via the information you learn about. My favorite was the Gram Stain assignment. Makes you really look under the microscope and discover itty bitty cells. After this course you will know each of the differences for each cell.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you really understand the material because If you get lost in the beginning, it's hard to catch up.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I loved microbiology, it very interactive and hands on. I loved learning all about the different germs, mircobs, and everything else that grows in this world.

    Course highlights:

Doing the experiments. That was my favorite, and also having our unknown project, which consists of having a mirco virus in a tube and not knowing what it is. So we had to use all our knowledge to figure out what we had in our tube.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study! Study, study! Even though it might seem like the class is easy, you need to study as much as you can. There is a lot of information that is received in that class, so take the time you can and study.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this course-at least taking it online. Microbiology is a class that should be taken in class, otherwise its a very difficult class to succeed at.

    Course highlights:

I did learn a lot even though it was online, your learning about the smallest, microscopic germs and DNA fragments- those were the coolest lectures to follow.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is great and doable when you do it in class. My advice would be never take it online.
