Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was extremely interesting, as the pieces of literature chosen were captivating. Also, it was taught by a marvelous professor who ensured her students understood proper grammar, analysis, and research techniques.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were definitely the analytical and writing components. I've never enjoyed writing assigned papers so much. Even my research essay, I looked forward to revising every class. The works we analyzed were also so intriguing and created much conversation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say, make sure to read, and read, and then re-read again. Be ready to commit.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. LaPointe is a tough teacher, but also incredibly passionate. She aims to truly inspire her students and has high standards, so it's definitely not an easy A course. All in all, if you do the work and try your best, she will see that and help you better yourself along he way.

    Course highlights:

My favorite days were when we would discuss whatever we had just read or watched and analyze it in the group. This way you could see the differences in interpretation among the students, and Mrs. LaPointe always made sure to tell us there was no wrong way to understand something.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the work! Since she demands a portfolio at the end of the semester, it might seem easy to procrastinate, but even one or two weeks behind in work can make the rest of the semester extremely stressful. Also, show up for class. A lot of what she expects to see in homework she will discuss in class.
