Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Liebert teaches in such a way that promotes open discussion and knowledge on the topics being studied in the class. As he was once in the position of a student, he is able to relate to the class and understand how people feel. However, he is still very much able to present challenging assignments that help to expand upon the student's knowledge of the topics of the class while all the while still keeping a fun and interesting learning environment.

    Course highlights:

There were so many highlights to this course that I could go on for days, so I will only talk about a few. To start off, there are only a few graded assignments throughout the semester. Most people only see it as a positive for that reason, there are just a few. However, I see it as a pro for the fact that, since there are just a few grades, this pushes people to study quite a bit more than they normally would to understand the topics. Since only a few grades means they really do count. Another highlight would be the general feel of the class. By that I mean that Dr. Liebert promotes open discussion and debate of numerous theories and experiments in the field of psychology. This is extremely effective, as it lets every student form their own thoughts and opinions on the subject. The final pro that I will, talk about here is Dr. Liebert's experience. As a former psychologist with at least a couple decades in the profession, he is extremely knowledgeable on the subject and will not shy away from telling psychology majors and students alike the truth and reality of working in such a field. He is able to discuss both the pros and the cons in great detail with anyone that wants to know.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

As for some advice, I would say definitely read the required reading, as there are multiple instances both in class or on a test where topics only discussed in the reading will appear. Also, stay on top of things, although not the hardest class in the world, the only real way for one to pass the class with a good grade is to, like I stated above, do the reading and to also study the notes taken in class, as all will be important and sometimes central to the class at at least one point throughout the course.
