Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Well, you learn about the subject, although it seems you can choose how much you wish to learn.

    Course highlights:

Different methods of handling business throughout cultures, and creating a new supermarket in a country of our choosing and how to operate it in order to achieve business globalization knowledge. Every assignment is presented through a powerpoint presentation.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn power point, turn in all your assignments on time; should be very easy. In fact she also keeps all assignments open to work at your own pace.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

There is one major problem that happened; however, it was a one time thing. Live and learn. She had somehow locked everyone out of using MyCourses completely until completing certain assignments on her agenda. Also didn't quite know about replying to students via spc email. However, other than that!! Great teacher, I really like her. Also, granted this class is International business, and this being my 5th year at SPC solely focused on business the entire time (graduating in summer w/ BS in management); so maybe I just consider it easy. Everyone has a strength, and to each his/her own. I personally think this teacher is very fair, assigns the proper amount of work, is willing to work with you; but because she is new, her organization certainly needs to be improved.

    Course highlights:

I'm actually still taking this course, the reason I decided to comment first on this was because I've never had a situation where I was completely locked out of MyCourses for days, which also didn't allow me to do homework; and I know I'm not the only one. So technically I was set back in my other classes because of this mistake; but it was an honest one, I don't hold anyone accountable. I was recently in two bad car accidents, so that put me even further behind; luckily I had doctor notes, so I should be allowed to make up all the work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Specifically for this course, I would make sure to pay clear attention to flashcards, but more importantly, making sure you're on top of the assignments; considering it is majority of the classes grade. She isn't very strict, I don't think it is very difficult to do well in her class. Granted I still have not finished, but I do think I'll end up with an A when I'm so tired of school (as I mentioned, 5 years non-stop, no breaks, full time) I would accept a C. But it doesn't matter what class your in, if you really want to get ahead, be a nuisance; kill the professor with kindness while pursuing a sympathy card, and then see if you can get news about future assignments, and immediately ask for clarification if not understanding assignment.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have researched so many different domiciles other than my current one. The research I have done involves looking at other countries rising economies, markets, trading power, etc. in places like Russia, China, and the U.S. International Relations are extremely important in the evolving business world.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were all of the discussions and papers. They are not too long but you learn alot just in the research you do.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this course, make sure to submit discussion early in order to get a good grade and keep the discussion going. This counts as your class time. This professor will mark you off if you wait until the last day to do it.
