Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend taking this course as one of your math credits. The professor is more than willing to help any student who is in need of extra help by staying after class, answering questions during office hours, and quickly responding to emails. There were four take-home quizzes throughout the semester. Those are great practice for the tests. After taking this course, I feel prepared for future math and science courses.

    Course highlights:

I plan on studying aeronautical science next year and this course has helped me realize how trigonometry can be applied to aviation. The professor also showed how it is used in physics, engineering, and graphic design.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise other students to take clear notes, and to use those to study for tests and quizzes. There were pop quizzes in class once a week. Be sure to know the unit circle for those. As for take-home quizzes, working with classmates was allowed. I think the best way to complete these quizzes is to start them on your own, and then collaborate with others to catch any mistakes or solve problems that were more difficult. Do not hesitate to ask the professor for examples that are similar to quiz questions. These quizzes also make great study guides for tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms Nelson is a professor that really explains the material in a way that was very easy for both myself and fellow students to comprehend. She also works with the students at anytime she is available which is a lot of time.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the class had to be the identities. They were a lot of material but weren't too bad once I understood the basis and foundation of it all.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take time out to properly study and always ask questions be it during class, after class, or even send her an email.
