    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP Chemistry is a challenging course, but it is fun in the long run. The lab assignments are interesting but require diligence. Reading is vital to the course and past knowledge of chemistry is recommended.

    Course highlights:

The labs were the highlights of the course. They took a while to do but you learn much from them.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Ask questions to your teacher. Chemistry will be confusing unless you find help from others. Do not procrastinate as well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not only is this teacher excellent but, if you like science, this is a great course to take to prepare you for the college level science courses. The content of this course is also very interesting and very familiar if you took chemistry prior to taking this class.

    Course highlights:

Labs are definitely a highlight of this course and Kaplan's test curve because it helps you receive better grades on tests and quizzes. So far I have learned about concepts I learned about in Chemistry Honors and we have gone more in depth and learned even more about why things happen in chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study and pay attention in class because the problems in the homework packets and the same questions that come up on tests. Also, you need the information from class in order to complete the homework to the best of your ability and the fact that Kaplan doesn't grade homework makes the class feel more like a college level class as you have more responsibility to prepare yourself for tests and quizzes.
