Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Benner is funny, makes learning about the world fun, and prepares you extremely well for the test.

    Course highlights:

The whole course was a highlight because the world's history is interesting. It's fascinating to watch how our society has transformed over time and become what it is today. Benner also makes it competitive and exciting with jeapardy reviews.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you pay attention, read, and prepare for the test, you'll have an A and pass the AP test easily.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Benner was such an engaging teacher, and I learned so much from how he taught history by using stories. He would always keep everyone entertained and you would walk out of the class feeling like you actually had learned something. I highly recommend it.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me so much about history, how to be engaging, and most of all, how to write. I feel like I was prepared for all of my future courses, and writing for other AP classes was easier after this class. The material was applied to current day situations, and the lesson of how history can be repeated was one well taught.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I can offer is to most definitely to take notes and pay attention. I know the advice for every class is to pay attention, but if you don't pay attention in class, the only source of knowledge will be through reading the textbook, which may become slightly drab and tedious at times. Although reading the textbook may be time-consuming, it is still a must as well, for it fills in all of the gaps and best prepares you for the AP test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Benner was an engaging teacher that provided helpful extra resources for passing the ap test. He was funny and taught well, and his jeopardy review games really helped cement the knowledge in my head.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was learning about ancient civilizations such as Babylon and Ancient Greece. I improved my geography knowledge a lot and learned a lot about China and its dynasties.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class because notes may not be the most interesting but there is a lot of important information you are receiving every day. And be sure to always write the take home essays, it'll help you be more prepared for in class essays.
